Halt

Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Halt mobile application. By creating an account, you accept them.

Last updated: August 20, 2026

1. The publisher

Halt is published by FRIIO, a French company (SASU) registered with the Rouen Trade and Companies Register under number 105 203 152, headquartered at 72 Quai Cavelier de la Salle, 76100 Rouen, France — friio.iocontact@gmail.com.

2. The service

Halt helps you track hair loss over time: guided photo scans, a 3D reconstruction of your scalp, zone measurements, routines with reminders, and general educational content. An account is required to use the app.

3. Not medical advice

Halt is not a medical device and provides no diagnosis, treatment or medical advice. Its measurements are informational estimates, and the educational content is general information. Always consult a doctor or dermatologist for medical decisions, before starting any treatment, and whenever the app suggests that a professional opinion is warranted. Never use Halt as a substitute for professional care. Prescription medicines are only ever mentioned as something to discuss with your doctor — Halt does not sell, prescribe or recommend them.

4. No promise of results

Hair loss varies from person to person. Halt measures what happens; it does not and cannot promise stabilization or regrowth, and no element of the app or of our communication should be read as such a promise.

5. Subscriptions and payment

6. Your content

Your photos and measurements remain yours. You grant FRIIO the technical licence strictly necessary to store and process them in order to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy — nothing more.

7. Acceptable use

8. Intellectual property

The app, its name, design, code and content (except your own data) belong to FRIIO or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law.

9. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, FRIIO's liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the service during the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including under French consumer law.

10. Termination

You can stop using Halt and delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. Sections that by nature survive termination (intellectual property, liability, governing law) survive it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain applicable. Disputes go first through friio.iocontact@gmail.com — most issues are solved there.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the app before they take effect. The latest version always lives at friio.io/halt/terms.
